#13 | Let's talk tools!
This time, we’re keeping things practical — no fluff, just technical writing stories, decisions, and lessons learned the hard way. Two Pawełs, two different perspectives, one common theme: how to make better choices around documentation and tools (and what happens when things go… not exactly as planned ;).

👉 Migrating from two documentation platforms to one. A tech-writer's adventure
There comes a time in every organization's life when its documentation platform becomes a dead end. This is the story of the documentation team at Voucherify, an API-based incentive optimization engine. They have migrated their API reference, developer guides, and dashboard user manuals from ReadMe and Help Scout to Mintlify. Follow the winding path of making the decision, selecting the new platform, migrating the content, avoiding failures (sometimes unsuccessfully!), but, in the end, succeeding.

👉 How to choose tools for technical writing
It's not about what you like, it's about what will help you and your users the most. But it's also about what will work for your boss and the company. In this presentation, I want to talk about not what the best tools for tech writing are, but about how to pick the right goals, build realistic and helpful requirements, fit the business environment, and convince your boss to fund the project.
